Hello Homeowners:
In the wake of the first official meeting
of our HO assn. I have some observations.
First, this is all about protecting your
investment. You cannot control what your
fellow homeowners do if you do not set some
guidelines. I got the feeling it was us
against them in some issues. This is about
coming to consensus on how we want our
neighborhood to appear to visitors and
prospective buyers. I am surprised at what
seems to be a fairly large support base for
metal buildings, which is fine, but as I
said you need to put some teeth in the
restrictions or you might end up with
something in the neighbors yard you would
not let a dog live in. We all look at the
world through different knotholes, be
careful what you wish for.
Second, I think there some of our fellow
homeowners that like to point out what is
wrong with everyone else’s property all the
while they are in violation of the
restrictions themselves. There are some of
you that have obviously studied the
restrictions at length? It seems the point
being to find all that is wrong or for the
purpose of complaining.
We are never going to make things perfect
in our community!!
With everyone’s constructive
contributions we can make it a very pleasing
community to live in.
Third, I was and am disappointed at the
participation level of our community in the
annual meeting. I would ask if you know your
neighbor did not attend Please mention to
them when the next meeting will be held and
we need their input. Tell them to check out
the website.
OK with that said; all of the ballots
have either been delivered or mailed. We
decided to deliver all we could by hand to
save you from having to go to the post
office to pick it up. You Are Welcome!!
